Dear EA Clients,

Now that many of our clients have secured loans through the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), we are getting a variety of requests for guidance on how the PPP loan forgiveness will work.

The truth is, there are still a lot of unanswered questions about how the forgiveness will work. The Treasury Department and SBA have promised further guidance on the forgiveness process soon. In the meantime, we thought it would be helpful to lay out the things we do know about the loan forgiveness and suggest some things business owners should be thinking about as they make decisions in the coming weeks.
